Sue Rhodes

Sue Rhodes worked in the design business, studying silver smithing, then painting and ceramics at the Camden School of Art. Sue learned her sculpture skills from Jill Berelowitz and has been a working sculptor since the early 90's. Sue is an associate of The Royal Society of British Sculptors and is a member of the successful artists group Eight plus One.

Abstract and minimal, balanced and strong, Sue’s work is highly finished, smooth, tactile and sensuous. She is inspired by relationships and the human figure, especially primitive Neolithic Goddess carvings. She sculpts by instinct, capturing a moment or memory in bronze, resin or stone.

Sue creates sculpture for architectural, business and private environments, and her work has been widely exhibited and purchased by collectors and companies in the UK and abroad.
